Harrell Precision Online Ordering Issues?

I've never ordered from them but I cannot seem to be able to checkout on their store regardless of what browser is used or anything else I try. I hear how hard they are to get on the phone and was wondering if the webstore is any different??? Anyone able to order or recently order from the website?
 
They don't take charge cards
Took my card about 5 minutes ago. He did mention a name other than Harrells will show on the charge so maybe they've made some charge arrangements? I have heard they ask for a check but today he asked if I wanted to use a card???
 
For anyone else wanting to know, I saw somewhere the other day that they were in the middle of redoing / updating their website. They may have online orders blocked during this transistion, so there won't be "lost" orders.
 
I have always called. Quite a few years ago I called to order a press. He said I will ship it with an invoice, He did not know me from Adam. This is how it has went in all following orders also. So I make ir point to msil him out check the same day I receive the order. Top notch, good folks , must be kin with the Kelbys. Same fine kind of people.
 
I have been having issues all day with the site. Keeps telling me my session has timed out and wont let me add anything to cart.
 
Call them. Its worth it, just to talk to them, hear that Blueridge accent and experience their level of politeness which is unequalled on this planet. Oh, they make beautiful stuff too. Call early in the day - IIRC.

^^^^^^^^^Well stated. I always call. Never thought of ordering through their website. Always quick turn around and a pleasure to do business with. I don’t think they take orders on Friday.
 
I live about one hour away from Harrell's and always call before making the trip to find the best time to visit. The call is always answered promptly. They are great people to work with. When getting barrel tuners I bring the rifle with me and they custom fit the tuner. Can't say enough good things about the company.
 
The last time I called they answered right away but asked me to hold for a second so he could remove his ear plugs as he just came off the lathe.

Great people to deal with, can be a little hard to understand depending on who you talk to.

The last guy I dealt with , I understood he was a brother in law to the owners and said his wife did the CC billing at home in the evenings and it would be a different name on the statement.

Many years ago when I thought I wanted to shoot benchrest I called to order one of their powder measures. Gentleman, and I do mean gentleman, took my order and said thank you before hanging up. What the heck I thought, he didn't ask for any payment info so I dialed him back up and asked I was told just to mail a check when I received the powder measure. Stunned, I said I would. Two days later I realized I ordered the wrong powder measure so I called them again and explained my blunder and asked what needed to be done. Gentleman explained that when I had received both of the powder measures just send the first one back with a check for payment on the second. I had over $500.00 in powder measures and all they had was my address!
