>>>>Rocky Mountain Big Game Animals are Screaming for HELP<<<<

So, I'm 68 years old and have apparently become an idiot since I retired a few years ago.

I completely overlooked "Rocky Mountain" part of the title and only thought of it as I would here in Maryland outside of DC where we have neither moose, elk...or wolves that I know of.

But we got more deer than you can shake a stick at and they could use some serious predation. Had a doe at night run across four lanes of traffic in order to throw itself against my left fender. At the VW dealer's body shop, the manager told me that a full half of the vehicles in there were for deer strikes.

For the anti-hunters....I imagine that they will change their tune when a deer comes through the windshield of their precious little teenager's windshield as they drive at night. THEN they want to napalm all of the deer. haha

Again, sorry for my total lack of thought in my prior post here. I don't live in a mountain state nor hunt mountain big game so I really have no knowledge of that situation and need to keep my mouth shut about it.

The TREE HUGGARS in Colorado just voted in the wolves. Took pictures of tracks in the snow yesterday near Granby Colorado. Marked the spot on my GPS. CPW does not have the money to buy them and manage them, Ever since Gov Juan Hickenblooper gave the Parks Dept DOW'S money. If they should reintroduce them, They should start reintroducing them IN the state Capital, DENVER City Park, CU Campus in Boulder, and probably FT Collins. ME, I'm going to build a 6 Creed to shoot Sierra 100 gr TGK's, with my STC form 1 can, 10 rd Magpul mags and go to Craig, CO for a week of rabbit hunting.

Can you hear their cries for help...Listen... hear that Cow Elk Bawling to death while a pack of wolves hold her down by the nose, while several others rip out her unborn calf and eat it while she still lives.

Can you hear the Baby Moose Calf as it's being dragged around, while being chewed to death from the rear end.

Can you hear the cry for help from the Doe Deer while she helplessly tries to fight off a wolf pack that is killing her two twin fawns right before her eyes... while hearing their every cry for mommy's help.

Big Game Animals have been crying for help across our Western States for several years now... who is going to help them????

The increase of wolf population is growing so rapid that it's nearly impossible to stop it, or even slow it down. It was like starting fire when they released them back into the wild... now it's a fire storm....and out of control. Are the bright thinkers that started this Cry of the Wild, going to stop those cries...NOT likely. They are leaving it up to the Sportsman to fix their mess. The sportsman and trappers may be throwing water on this fire, but there's way too much blaze for them to make a difference... mostly because they are having to work alone. There just has to be a way to make every concerned sportsman, trapper, and heart felt citizens to join together in some kind of join effort to stop the spread of this fiery virus of wolf destruction.
I've heard of a group that is willing to place a $1000,00 bounty for each wolf... which is great... but would you quit your job over that and go full time into putting out this fire... probably not... but what if after 15 legally harvested wolfs...with proof, that your income was now $75,000.00...WOW... now that might just turn you into a FULL TIME wolf fire extinguisher. This Giant Mess would get stabilized real quick with a bounty of $5000.00 per head. How many sportsmen would get serious then?

Someone is sitting out there with a few million dollars laying around that is doing nothing IMPORTANT....

NOW IS THE TIME TO INVEST IT INTO CREATING SOME JOBS FOR A SUPER GOOD CAUSE.

WHO WILL HELP SILENCE THE CRIES OF THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN ANIMALS WHO ARE SUFFERING RIGHT NOW?
I am not a big game hunter but I understand completely the idea. I like it but would suggest you might have more impact with a mere 10000 per head, Any more than that and you have a pack of HUNTERS not SPORTSMEN solving their own problem. You want to reach a controlled number probably, not extermination.

I can only draw a moose tag once in 7 years, introducing wolves back into elk and moose area was probably a bad idea
Interesting...you can only draw a tag every seven years but the wolves, cougars and bears have their ass-pockets full of lifetime LEGAL tags...year round. Guess that should shed a bit of light on where the priorities of the perverts really lie, huh?
And if the vermin exceed their limits by chowing down on a ranchers livestock, domestic animals, pets and children...well, the taxpayers have to foot the bill for that also. Really good work if you can get it.
Have to wonder when folks are gonna wake up from their long winter nap.

KALISPELL, Mont. - It?s not a sight you?d expect to see at Kalispell Middle School: a wolf running through the football field. Yet that?s exactly what one Kalispell witness filmed using a camera phone.
Sheriff?s deputies, Kalispell Police and FWP officials searched for a wolf in Kalispell on Saturday after receiving several calls reporting sightings. FWP officials were able to confirm that the animal was a wolf after reviewing dash-cam footage.
FWP Biologist Erik Wenum said the animal is wearing a radio collar, but that it might not be working. He also said the wolf could have traveled from as far away as Canada.
According to Wenum, FWP officials are scanning radio frequencies as calls come in, but the wolf?s collar might have malfunctioned or run out of battery life.

Wenum said the last sighting on Saturday occurred near the Farm to Market and Pine Road intersection, and that the wolf was heading west. Wenum said FWP also responded to a call at about 8:30 am on Sunday morning near the Farm to Market and Four Mile Drive intersection, but only found coyote tracks.

The introduction of wolves into the Yellowstone was completely illegal. Jim Beers lays it all out for ya. He mentions being in Bozeman the week previous to the talk in this video. I was there. Ranchers and hunters were fit to be tied.

But, hey, when you are with the gub'mint, you can do what you want. There is, after all, a two tiered "just us" system in this country.

Thanks for sharing, I had not seen this before. It is dated 2010, but not much has changed. We just went through a situation regarding a wolf season in WI. Yesterday I read an article published in the Chicago Tribune with regards to our WI. wolf hunt. So many untruths and omissions in it that it is sickening.

I seem to recall JD King interviewing Mr Beers in his documentary, "Crying Wolf."
The whole shebang was a criminal enterprise from the get-go. And it still is!
If folks don't wake up from their "Beavis & Butthead" nap soon, they are going to be dumpster diving for groceries.

Does anyone gut shoot anymore ?
Does anyone know when to keep their mouth shut anymore?
Things are bad enough for hunters and firearms owners in the eye of the media without people making low effort comments about animal cruelty further maligning a sport and recreation in the public eye.
It's embarrassing as an adult to be associated and grouped with people at the level of intellect you present.

I disagree with you. The reason we are where we are in this country is because we, the good guys, have for the past 30 years kept quiet. What it has gotten us is the situations we find ourselves in now. Time to wake up , smell the coffee, and let everyone know we smell it.

Every time man puts his hand on something in nature it doesn't turn out good.We have a similar problem in WV,but it's coyotes and eagles. The groundhogs are basically gone,as are quail, grouse and other critters. The deer have been forced out of the bigger mountains and into the farm country because of the bears and coyotes.I have three friends and fellow hunters who saw deer being chased through the woods by bald eagles, and one of them is my brother who saw it happen about half a mile from my house and I know he has no reason to lie about it.The bad thing is that eastern coyotes are incredibly hard to hunt and the eagles would be easier, but the penalty for shooting one would be a life changer.
