The match is in the books and Ben Avery provided us a wide variety of conditions to compete in. You can find the daily and grand aggregate results here:

Congratulations to John Stewart, Marc Thibault, and Kelly Frank, our champions in F-Open, F-TR, and Any Rifle respectively. This event tested a wide range of abilities. Day 1 was a pair-firing event and matches 2/3 were quite windy. No running and gunning it on Day 1. Day 2 was a 600 yard match, probably the easiest conditions of the weekend, but with the usual Ben Avery low-wind trickery. Finally, day 3 was a 1,000 yard match with full-value winds of 0 to 10 mph.
Amazing Performances:
Day 1, 1,000 Yard Pair-Fire
-John Stewart’s 440-15X: rock solid in tough winds and the high score amongst all divisions
-Theodore Montano & Damon Martin: 150-10X, 150-9X respectively. These were the only cleans of the day!
Day 2, 600 Yards
-Pete Ricci & Keith Davis, grand seniors lapping the field with 200-18X individual match performances.
-Damon Martin with a 599-42X for the win. This is the second time in a row Damon has won our regional mid-range match. Eric Wuestenhoefer was nipping at his heels with a 599-41X.
Day 3, 1,000 Yards
-Mike Kelley, wins the 600 yard on his day 2 warm up after many months out of the sling. Follows this up with a wire to wire dominating win on Sunday. Nice shooting Mike!
-Robert Wood, 200-13X, always an impressive feat at 1,000 yards
-Eric Wuestenhoefer, following up a strong 600 yard performance with a dominating win at 1,000 yards. If only he had not cross-fired on Day 1…..he’ll be thinking about that before bedtime. J
Grand Aggregate
-John Stewart, rock solid 3 days of shooting. He did not win many individual stages, but he did dominate on the most difficult day (day 1) and was solid thereafter.
-Keith Davis, our grand-grand senior putting the hammer down with 3 consecutive days of impressive performances. He was just 2 points behind Mr. Stewart and had the high X-count amongst all competitors in every division. Nice!
-Team Canada: Marc Thibault and Gerry Wiens swept the F-TR division with solid performances all 3 days. Nice job gents!
See you on the line,
Scott & Christine Harris
