RL19?

Was talking with a shooting buddy, and Rl19 was brought up. I told him that I'd tried it several times, but never really had much luck with it in regards to accuracy or consistency. He said basically the same, that it'll get the job done, but that's about it. Looking at some load data, it should be the cat's meow for some cartridges, but I rarely see it mentioned here like Rl17 or Rl22. Has anyone ever used this powder and found it performed better than anything else you tried for a particular cartridge? Just curious at this point. Thanks.

My 300 Winnie loves this with the 180's and the 168 grainers. I get a tad more velocity than with RL22. I'm still working with it for my 270 AI. I'm getting pretty good results with the 140 gr. Berger VLD.

I've contemplated trying RL19 for my .300WM with 175 grainers and lighter. I have a vast inventory of .30 cal bullets and been wondering how bullets in the 155-175 range would shoot.

My 300 Win. mag just loves RL19-can't find a better powder for 180 gr. bullets than this-also works very well in my friends .300 Jarrett.

I ran out of 7828 and had to switch to rl19 to load some elk rounds.
It worked very well, almost equal to my best 7828 loads.

I to have used it in my 243 and had good accraucy with it.I was using it for 80nbt and I liked it but it is a dirty powder. It seemed to always leave more residue in the barrel than others did.

RL19 worked well in my 30-06 deer rifle with a 180 grain bullet, less than 1 MOA. Also very accurate in 243 with a 105 bullet out to 900 yards.
