Ive been doing some investigating into reloading and fireforming for a 260AI. Ive read some impressive things about RL17 and increased speed, i would like to give it a try sometime but i havent really heard anything about its accuracy. Also im shooting in Minnesota, without any exageration I will be shooting from 10 degrees or less to 95 degrees or more in a given year. Ive heard about RL15 being quite temperature sensative and was wondering if RL17 fell into the same catagory.
I plan on shooting heavier bullets but if i could get a little lighter bullet really cooking it might have some good effect . I am also going to be fireforming brass.
Ive looked into H4350 for this round. Im very inexperienced when it comes to different powders, the only stuff i have used is varget in my 223. Thanks for any help.
I was just thinking a 123gr in front of this rl17 in an 260AI would be something like a laser beam, would be fun to shoot.
