40.5-41.0 gr gave 3400 FPS +/- in 26” Criterion barrel. Shot 1.5-2” groups at 500 yards. Shot ok at 1000 yards but wind was really playing with em.

Don't have the AI but I use it in my 22-250 exclusively. Did some testing and had no issues shooting up to 38 grs with the 80's. I didn't end up staying there and eventually backed to down to 36.5 grains for accuracy. Was getting 3168 at that point. Have used 23 exclusively in the current barrel and have 1490 rounds through the tube. Accuracy is still superb. Only shoot 90's in it now.

What's your velocity with those 90s and which 90 are you using ? That's pretty good longevity on an 8 twist tube. You obviously are be conservative with your loads.

I use 41.5 with 80 bergers. Shoots great! Three shots at 300. My drop charts say 3500, but I have my doubts it is that fast, and haven't chronograped it yet, but it matches out to 1000 yds. Bartlein barrel , 7.7 twist. 28 inches.

3500 FPS with a 28” barrel is very reasonable for that charge. My 40.55 gr load was 3400-3450 FPS in a 26 “ 7.5 twist Criterion barrel

It hits really hard, too! I was surprised at how deep they penetrate steel compared to my other rounds. Here are 3 more at 330, if you look left and low , you can see a divet from my 284, 180 Berger. The difference is even more dramatic at closer ranges!
