Riseing usps cost ?

Im a trucker driver and have been for 35 years.
Ive seen a few companies go out of business this last year. Ive known 10 roads to have pulled the Usps mail for as long as I can remember. They closed the doors at the end of the year. Now it comes to light why they went out or business.
It seems more crooked people are getting into positions to make themselves and a good Ole buddy money.
The rates per mile that this new Chief of logistics for the usps had implemented for his new buddies is insane.
We wonder why they keep going up on the cost of stamps and shipping.

We are talking from 4 to 7 dollars a mile.

I worked for BECO out of business (sister company 10 Roads) and Alan Ritchey during the holidays. It paid big bucks when they hauled Amazon freight. When Amazon started hauling bulk of their own freight, the workload dropped, foreign labor took over in the trucks and on the dock and those holiday jobs are long gone now.

Yes per mile
I have hauled some Usps mail last year and average cost per mile from dallas to lubbock was only around 2.50 to 3..
These rates are way over the top.

Well, the USPS managed to lose or late deliver every single statement of mine last month.

So. Going to online statements.

No idea how that organization is going to stay afloat if they can't even deliver a simple letter any longer.

You all do whatever works for you. As for me, I am going to discontinue all service/mailing/packages using USPS.

They just cost me a considerable amount of money because I now have several late fees.

I only need a lesson like that once.

This all started when Lajoie was appointed to Post Master and was tasked with slowing and ruining mail in ballots Up until then things were just fine. Remember the post office was created as a Necessary service so we could actually have a working country--it is like the military it was never meant to "make $" again--like the Army--something we need not a profit center. That all gets lost these days--If it were private prices would climb through the roof --when politicians screwed with it for their supposed gain is when it went off the rails
The workers at my local post office work their tails off and help me all the time--they are very valuable members of my community --they are at the mercy of the higher ups as well.
