Ring around the seated bullet

300 Win Mag Norma brass Forester Micro seating die. The neck wall thickness is .014, and the brass sized is .03345 with the bullet.03355 Hornady 208ELDm and Sierra 195 TMK. BUT no such ring with Berger 168 VLD Hunting bullet.

Your seat stem is pushing on one bullet differently than another brand/style due to differences in bullet profile. Seat stems are machined as a "fits all" but really dont. Quick hack: A dollop of hot glue in the stem followed by a seated bullet witl create a temporary (just heat to remove) bullet specific stem. Longer hack: emory cloth wrapped on a bullet will just barely cut the edge of the stem and that seems to alleviate the issue as well. Keep in mind compressed loads increase the back pressur eof seating a bullet.
