There are Some YouTube videos attempting to load 22lr with this product with dismal (in my opinion) results. They do sell a primer mix now to replace the white tips from strike anywhere kitchen matches they used to recommend.

Which is why you don't see them being used to win "significant" or distinguished competitions. But somebody will try just because.....
