What size of patches do you use ?
1 3/8 sq proshot over parker-hale jag. What size of patches do you use ?
I mostly shoot 6mm calibers, and for those I use 1 3/8" square Pro Shot patches, with a .22 cal. Dewey piercing jag. I believe that there is little use for tight patches since the solvent tends to get squeezed off as they enter the bore. What size of patches do you use ?
Yup, VFG pellets wouldn't use anything else. gives me the best control on how tight the fit is to the bore.VFG pellets
Do these look like the synthetic patches you're referring to?I buy 3" square synthetic patches meant for shotguns. I cut them in half, fold them to form a 1 1/2 inch square and put them on a loop - for solvent - or 20 caliber jag when dry patching. I also use round .22 caliber cotton patches sometimes to dry patch.
