rimfire accuracy

I have a sako p94 action fitted with a anschutz 54 match trigger it normally shoots and still does shoot extreemly tight groups. But it has started to throw the first the first shot out each time,and its costing serious points loss. Any ideas what causes this thanks Richard aussie shooter

What is your cleaning regime and what brand of cleaning agents are you using?

By first shot, do you mean after the barrel has sat for a while?

Can you not shoot that first shot on a sighter bull?

yes after the rifle has sat for say 30 minutes it will throw the first shot then group tight as. Cleaning the rimfire is just to put a dry patch through after each shoot,in our competion 3 poitional and field rifle matches you do not get sighters. thanks Richard
