Rimfire Gallery--Show Us Your Gun

Remington family. All 22 rimfire rifles. Top to bottom.......1)582 unfired from 1978. 2) 582 from 1982 with 41 rounds down the barrel. 3) 541T lightly used. 4) 541T lightly used with 2nd action screw added. 5) 541S lightly used. Scopes are all Leupold gloss finish 2x7x33 or 3x9x40 except one frankescope. It's a Leupold 2x7x40 that was apparently repaired at Leupold with incorrect parts or the only parts on hand at the time, per Leupold. All rings and mounts will be replaced in the next couple of weeks with S&K polished one piece rings/mounts.

Got a 541T HB in the works and due to be delivered in about 10 days. That will complete my quest of these fine, vintage rimfire.

Someone has the affliction! :D

My 541X with an "S" adjustable trigger and new Williams peep sights. I refinished the stock with TruOil (first time). It will shoot with SKRM. 5 shots @ 25 yards upper left after I adjusted the sights. I decided my old self wasn't going to get much better than that.

There is a guy on ringer central (in SC I think) who is taking the HD Militaries and putting an integral modern suppressor on it so it looks identical to the original WWII suppressed HD.
I'd like to talk to him about convertinh one. Do you know who he is and how to reach him~?

So, here is what I did to my old Ruger 77/22.
I stripped the finish on the stock, stained with Miniwax American walnut, then finished with two coats of Miniwax tung oil finish and lightly buffed with 0000 steel wool.
I rebuilt the missing pressure pad with JB Weld KwikWood and reset the barrel using gun grease as a release agent on it, in the stock until it hardened.
I stoned the sear in the trigger and replaced the trigger spring with a lighter one. Reassembled and torqued the action screws at 25 psi
Then I replaced the scope rings with Warne rings and mounted a Mueller 4.5-14x40 scope.
Today was the day of reckoning at the range.
After finally getting it on target, I started sighting it at 50 yards using CCI S/V.
