I’m getting all that done right now in South Georgia to a zastava M808. Including the purchase price of the barrel I am $1250 out the door. So $850 for items 1, 2, and 3.

There’s a very talented gunsmith on this forum who I use frequently and his prices are higher than that, but his work is absolute perfection. So it’s based on the smiths skills, workload, and name they’ve made for themselves.

Thanks for the info ! I haven't had any smith work done in years, & was curious about todays rates.

My gunsmith is on this forum too and his prices are higher than what is being quoted above, but I think the quality of his work is definitely worth the extra money and his attention to detail is second to none. And his wealth of knowledge is incredible.

My smith charges something around $400 to chamber a barrel for the guns he built for me. I go to him because of his history of performance in the BR world and my guns are BR rifles that I compete with. It's a confidence thing for me.

What difference does it make how much they charge? I cant get one to do anything as they are all 6mos+ out!
