Rifle cases,for transport)

Hello, I am brand new to this forum, but not shooting. I am curious to see if anybody knows of a rifle transport case that is longer than the Pelican 1750. I have a Rem PSS with a 26" bbl and a brake. It just barely fits into the Pelican 1750,but it is O.K.). The question is are there cases that are longer than this one? I am thinking of getting a "Starter BR" rifle, which may potentially be longer than the one mentioned above. I know that there are BR rifles that are pretty long,28" - 30" bbls and higher). Do any of you know of a hard case that can handle that?

I have an older pelican 76 key keyboard case, it's the same as the gun case. I don't think they make that model length anymore. However, you can use any ATA 76 key keyboard case and add the foam of your choice.

Hey Blue Eyed Bear. Thanks for the link. I measured the inside length of my Pelican 1750, it is 52" The one in that link is 54 1/2" I think one will work fine.

I have a brand new Kalispel aluminum case for sale. It's 62Lx8H

I have a Dosko Sport case,all-weather model with wheels). It fits my 28" dasher rifle with 3-4 inches to spare. The P1750 should be the same internal size, give or take half an inch. My Sako,26" barrel plus brake) is about the same length.

Hello Jameschiarer. I also have one of their aluminum cases. It's a darn good case, but the 12" case is too narrow for a scoped rifle. The rifle that I bought that case for has a removeable scope mount. I made cutouts for the rifle with enough room for a cutout of the scope and mount next to it. Fortunately for me, each time the scope is reinstalled at the range, I can quickly re-zero within two or three shots, so it's not a big deal.

Hey Dasher my PSS is 26" with a brake and just barely fits. I think I am going to go with the one mentioned above by Blue Eyed Bear. Thanks for everybodys input. I still am curious how the really long,30" plus) rifles are hauled around.
