Rifle Basix Remington 700 trigger?

Anyone have any first hand experience with Rifle Basix triggers for Rem 700? I am looking at the LV-1 or the ERV-3 to put on an FTR/ prone rifle. Are either of these triggers any good?

Got one on my FTR rifle, got two more on a couple 260's. Good value for money imho, no creep, consistent, crisp, reliable.

I've got one on my 700 Rem long range rifle. I had issues with pull adjustment right off. I called and they sent a replacement out right away. I have never had a problem since. It's an LV-1. I rather pay the piper and buy a Jewell.

I have one and one only. I really don't care for this trigger. Buy a jewel and you will have no regrets. dave

i have a Rifle Basix ERV3 on my Pierce RBLP action and its an excellent trigger, crisp clean break and easily adjustable pull weight. I have had good luck with Rifle Basix triggers in many of my rifles, in addition they stand behind their products and quickly resolve any problems you may encounter.

Op, just using the L-1, I dont use a light trigger in any of my rifles. They are reliable and to me that's the most important thing. As for Jewels, I have been on the line before and seen Jewels go down, nothing a little lighter won't cure but they are not for me.

I also have an LV1 on a 700, and agree it is not close to a Jewel. I have had two primer pops that broke the sear connector. On both occasions, RB sent me a new one immediately. Had to return the old ones.

I used RB triggers for sometime when the
CO was under previous ownership. Good
triggers as long as you stayed above 1lb.
I switched to the 2OZ model on my PD
rifles before I knew there was a stability
problem w/the light pull models. I could
never keep the creep out of them. I could
fire several good shots, then the next would
be lots of creep. RB is now under different ownership.

When I finally used a Jewell, I quickly converted
all my rifles, and was so happy w/the product
I began selling them. Thats been over10yrs ago.

I have RB triggers on all my competition rifles . I put a jewel on my latest tac build . The jewel is nice . Nice enough to chose one the first time around, not nice enough to replace my RB s

Just talked to Clay last week.

In the above post, I believe he states his experience took place 10 years ago.

I have several RB triggers on my rifles, and for the money, they are hard to beat.

PS: I am currently building two rifles for my sons, both with have RB triggers on them.

I have more jewel's then I do RB. But I have a few and like them a lot. Especially for the $$ and for varmint guns. I had one issue. I spoke with Clay and he walked me through it. (It was out of the gun by this time)
After a while and me thinking about it, I didn't feel comfortably putting it back in the gun. I called clay back and he said no problem. He sent me a new one out that day and asked me to return the one I had.
That was the only issue I ever had. I plan on using more RB. BTW the customer service couldn't have been better.

I have a LV-1. Like a lot of had said, it's nice but not a Jewell. I'm on the fence whether I would buy another one. Probably not. Value wise, you get what you pay for.
