Jrad or Rifle Basix ?

Has anyone had any dealings with the Jard triggers for a rem ? Was thinking about trying one of them in a 12 or 14 oz model or the Rifle Basix ERV this is going to be on a varmint only gun

Shooter,

I have a Rifle Basix ERV on my Remington 700 and I find it to be excellent. I set the weight to 6oz and it consistently breaks at that weight shot after shot. Took me about 10 mins to fit and I slam shut the bolt 20-30 times and not once did the firing pin fall. I highly recommend them.

Much better than my Remington trigger that even after my gunsmith lightened, had a very inconsistent pull.

Cheers,

Michael.

I have a Basix on my 112bvss set at about one pound. I am on the fifth barrel for this rifle. Trigger is exceptional.

I have installed a Rifle Basix ERV-3 trigger on a friends Rem. 700 sniper rifle and I was very impressed with it! I am impressed enough with it that I am getting ready to install one on my new .22BR. The installation was very easy, and I did not have to change the weight adjustments since it was just fine out of the box at the advertised six ounces. The other good feature of the Basix trigger is the great warranty, and service, from Bob Brasfield, the owner of Rifle Basix Triggers. I highly recommend the Basix triggers!

Cordially,
Bob Blaine

I have both. JARD on my 10/22 Pimped Ruger and the Rifle Basic which will be going into my Savage project.

I had one in another rifle which I sold--rifle basic. Both seem to be good triggers.

I like the option JARD gives you with the factory presets at certain weights.

If your going Savage its Rifle Basix or SSS trigger only. Remington of course you have more options.
