I convinced Robert Dodd to build these presses for me. I had used Robert’s reloading press for years at shoots and wanted presses like that reloading press but many times larger for making bullets. I had and still have several presses made from converting reloading presses, always questioning the quality of bullets made on these sloppy presses. These Dodd presses are straight line bored, the ram is guided by replaceable brass bushings and Bob added a piece of hardened tool steel, that was precision ground for flatness, to the top of the rams to insure a flat surface for the punches to sit on. These presses are serial numbered 002 and 003, Bob kept number .001. The ejection frames were designed by Bob to allow total access to the press window. These presses are of positive stop design. The presses remain very tight in terms of tolerances but operate very smoothly. Due to my wives and my medical problems, I haven’t been able to compete so I’ve begun to sell off some of my shooting equipment. I’m asking $1050.00 for each press shipped to the lower 48 to the first 2 I’ll take one followed by a PM.
