Retumbo For the 7mm Rem Mag?

From my reading, looks like Retumbo is the go to powder for the 7mm Rem Mag???...... I'm looking for max speed for the 180 VLD's

I shoot it with 162 amax and 162 sst. Im getting around 2850fps with a charge of 71 grains. The gun is a Savage with a 19" barrel. I would assume with a 26" tube the velocity will be over 3000fps. I have not tried it in any of my other 7 mags yet but will when the time comes. Hope this helps.

Thanks, This will be a 26" 1-8 twist , is there any possibility that the 180's will spit out at 3000 fps? The "Shooter" app on my phone has the 180's at 24.4 moa correction for 1000 yards at a MV of 2900 fps.

Not sure about the 180's outta your barrel but i will say that the 168 SMK's shot 40fps faster than the 162 amax and sst outta mine. Remember my barrel is only a 19" thumper ;D I have been wanting to put a longer tube on it but she shoots so well i cant justify fixing something that is not broke for say 150-200FPS.
