DEON is a great company

This statement gives me pause to ask the question:

If DEON is such a great company, why have all of the distributors given up distribution?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I sure would like to hear from the current and former distributors as to why they threw in the towel.

My understanding is that Kelbly's (US Importer prior to March Optics USA) did not throw in the towel as far as March scopes goes. I believe they did not ever want to give up their distributor status, though I am not privy as to why or how they or March Optics USA lost, or gave up the March import rights. I am not aware of any other distributors in the world, other than March Optics USA, that have "thrown in the towel" as it were. Perhaps others can enlighten us.

I do hope that the new distribution plan works out well for March / Deon. Dealer direct can be a very good arrangement. It has worked out well for Nightforce, Schmidt & Bender and a few others. Their scopes have been gaining ground steadily over the last few years in recognition as a top tier optic and in the winning circles. I own one and plan to own more in the future.
