My heavy gun is 56#, I use the Gary Alvey (AKA- Baer 3 piece rest system)
rest & am able to place two 25# bags of shot on the front plate between the threaded post & rear adjustment screw. Keeps that rear screw down when I’m trying to run fast.
Looking at your front rest in the photo, it looks like the threaded post (for the bag holder) is really forward on the plate which would make it more prone to tipping as you describe. No idea where you shoot & what the benches are like, can you add an additional steel plate underneath the current base that matches its contour but, also
extends forward several inches?
Putting the rest on a longer plate would change your tipping fulcrum making it harder to lift that rear leg. The additional weight from the added plate would help as well. Just means you have to get some different leveling screws probably.
I’m no artist but, hopefully a picture is worth a 1000 words...

I guess you could extend the plate back as well and move the rear leveling screw back, leaving you more space to set weight between your windage adjustment and that rear leveling screw...?
