Do you have dimensions? Is there anyone here that could assist me with 3D printing a lid for my V3 autotrickler powder thrower and trickler? It doesn't need to be a precise fit. Just something to keep dust and dirt out. I'll pay for the service. Thanks!
I can give that a try. Just figured mailing those parts from Canada would be unnecessarily expensive for what they would cost.Have you tried to get one from Adam? He's been very supportive and accommodating. The original appears to be 3D-printed, so he should be able to make one on request.
The only problem is that leaving powder in the measure allows the solvent to evaporate and the moisture content to gain or loose as well, changing the burn rate/performance.You know that you probably have a cap already. pill bottle caps, jar lids, cheap see through scope caps, etc. I have a number of old powder measures that have lost their caps over the years and powder can lids work perfect, one has a flip open scope cap. I don't change powders in my measures but have picked up enough measures over the years to keep them loaded with my favorite powders. I believe I have seven set up between my two loading stations.

I mostly want caps to keep out dust when not in use.The only problem is that leaving powder in the measure allows the solvent to evaporate and the moisture content to gain or loose as well, changing the burn rate/performance.
Below are the two lids I want:Along with dimensions take a picture of what you want covered.

Looks just like the one Area 419 makes… Theirs has a groove milled into it to locate it all the way around the perimeter of the draft sheilds. That also helps hold the draft shields in place.I used a piece of 9"x9"x1/2" Lexan, drilled 4 holes for positioning screws and a larger hole in the middle for the AutoTrickler, e voila! And Bob's yer uncle.
