Tomorrow morning I get on a plane to go visit my brother, a 77-year-old Vietnam veteran (combat medic). I will be with him in Oregon for four days.
This will be the first time I have been away from the site office for more than 48 hours since late 2019.
I should be able to connect to the internet, but will not be able to monitor the Forum from 6 am to 11:00 pm Pacific as I normally do.
In order to avoid Forum problems, I request that members follow these guidelines:
1. Do NOT start Off-topic Threads.
2. Do NOT make insulting posts or attack other members.
3. Do NOT post WTB or For Sale threads in any area beside the Classifieds.
4. Do NOT post live links to questionable sites or potential scammers. If you have doubts about a vendor website, consult https://stopgunscams.com which has identified over 1600 gun-related scam sites.
For People Posting New Threads
1. Take a Minute and THINK about your thread title -- Use proper descriptive words, not some vague title like "Hey Check this Out!" or "Yo WTH?"
2. Post your thread in the proper area. If you are asking about Scopes, put your thread in the "Scopes, Optics, LRFs..." area. If you are asking about powder or reloading tools, put your thread in the Reloading Area.
3. If you have a transactional issue with a specific vendor, send a PM to Forum Boss. Do NOT start an attack thread based on your individual experience alone.
For New Members -- Account Approval
We will continue to background check ALL new signups. However, there may be delays up to 48 hours. Please be patient.
For Upgraded Members -- Silver or Gold Not Appearing
For reasons still unknown, despite considerable effort by our programmers, each month a few account upgrades are not processing immediately -- somehow the PayPal upgrade "ping" does not reach our server. If this happens to you, please send a PM to Forum Boss with your Real Name and a screenshot of the Payment. I will then manually upgrade your account.
