Replacing MRAD Barrels

I'm looking for information on re-barreling a MRAD. Any help on the relation of the adapter to barrel would be appreciated.

From what little I know...
I understand the extensions can be removed though it ain't easy.
I believe Mark Gordon at SAC does this work, you might try contacting him to get some enlightenment.

I do it. You either have to have an extension in hand or sacrifice an old barrel to get the extension. Sacrifice means sawing the barrel off and boring out the tenon to relieve pressure to remove the extension. Neither way is cheap but nothing is cheap on an Mrad.
