Replacement trigger for Left Hand R700

Is there anyone out there making a replacement trigger for the left handed remington 700 action? Everything I have found isnt compatible with the safety on the left side and the bolt release. Its for a varmint rifle so safety is needed- even though I dont trust a safety.

I put a timney on a defiance last week. It only has the safety. If i remember right it had the bolt release slide that came off with no issue

Jewell makes a left-hand trigger second to none. Worth the extra bucks.

Varmint, as in what and how do you hunt?

A lot of my groundhog/crow/coyote guns don't have safeties.

I can either leave the chamber empty, or at worst I have the bolt handle up, until I see something to shoot.

It's no more work or movement for me to quietly hook my thumb over the bolt handle and close it than it is to thumb off a safety.

Of course, that is for stationary hunting situations.

The C.G model 22 european has an add-on bottom safety who is fully ambidextrous.

I have Jewell, Timney, and Rifle Basix LH triggers all with top safties and bolt releases. I had to add the safety to the Rifle Basix but it was no trouble.

My rifle is primarily used for driving around at night on private property with a lamp shooting foxes. Its set as a single shot and the bolt is left open while driving, but I would prefer the safety to be on there in case we get stopped somewhere on the way to or from a hunt by a hot under the collar police officer who wants to make a deal of it. Aus gun laws... dont let them catch on over there!

I had a Jewell trigger with top safety and bolt release on my left hand Rem 700 7 mm Rem Mag.

+1 on the Jewell. Have one on my VSSF and the majority of my other rifles. Best triggers on the market in my opinion.
