Repairs for Leupold

Anyone have any recent experience with Leopuld warrenty work???

I heard they would not do warrenty work on them (45x45 Competition)

Will contact Leopuld as suggested.

If they can't repair that would be due to no parts. They will repair anything they still have parts for.

Somewhere here there's a thread that has a couple places folks have used for repairs, or did at one time.

As jxb mentioned, they honor their lifetime warranty. But, if they don't have parts, they will replace the scope. Unfortunately, their available choices for replacement may not fit your need as well [or, maybe, at all] as the scope you sent in.

There is at least one other previous thread that reported Leupold no longer has parts for the 45x45.

I’ve had a pair of Leupold 30 year old 7x30 binoculars and a fairly new Mark AR 6-18x40 scope repaired. Both returned correctly and in a short period of time

I called them some months ago and they were very uninterested in hearing anything about a competition scope (36X). I hung up thinking this short conversation was the end of my dollars going toward a "lifetime" warranty.

You just cant expect them to keep making "spare" parts for scopes that were specialty scopes with a low production number. They will honor their warranty but if parts are not available you may not like what you get. Now if it was a comparable scope that went south on you you would have no recourse at all.

Looks very similar to my most recent 6-18 on before/after for elev/wind adjustment, almost nothing when it arrived and good when it left. Really nice they provide those details as well as the tests done in the paragraph above it.
