Removing tarnish on my ultrasonically cleaned brass

I used the "clean and cheap" method of ultrasonically cleaning my brass and I think I did the cleaning with vinegar part,step 1) too long.

My brass has some tarnish spots and is off-color,somewhat dark in color).

Is there any way to renew the finish? I didn't actually damage the brass, did I?
