Removing Imperial Sizing Lube

I spray an old wash cloth with Simple Green and that is enough to do a 50 case loading session for me.

How about using Hornady One Shot spray lube....directions say to spray on, let dry and it does not have to be wiped off........many on this forum swear by it, a few swear at it.......I prefer Imperial wax myself. But this lube might solve your problem. BTW I wipe Imperial off with a cotton cloth dampened with alcohol.

I de-prime first, then wet tumble with SS pins. Size with Imperial wax then put all my cases on an old large towel. Give it a 3-5 second blast of Brake Kleen, grab 2 corners of the towel in each hand and use a seesaw motion for about 10 sec. Lay the towel out on the floor in my shop and pick up clean, dry brass ready to be primed. I always buy the red can not the green one a Wally Mart. The process is fast and I've been doing it this way for many years now.
I hope this helps,
Lloyd

I cut paper towels into 4 sections. Both sides of each section will remove the residual Imperial die wax for alot of cases.

One only needs to apply enough Imperial die wax to make each case lightly greased.

Too much on each case (visible) is too much, and requires the wasted extra effort of tumbling or use of chemicals.

YMMV ;)

Scott

I use duplicolor CM-541 grease and wax remover. Use it to clean the outside of my neck before annealing as well. You can find it at checker or auto store in the paint section. High evaporation rate and a can last a long time and not to expensive.
