Reminiscing and old ammo

Cleaned out a deceased clay shooter's basement loaded with old DuPont powder cans and primers that came in wooden trays. Probably should have kept one of the trays and cans but sold it all on ebay.

I've got a couple boxes of .284 Winchester that somebody had necked down to 6.5mm and written their load on the box along with the date, 1973.

First rifle as a 12 year old kid was a SMLE No1Mk3* and I could afford to buy a single box of this ammo every month to shoot at the Service Rifle Club and shoot the odd feral pig. I wish now I had kept some of it but if course I fired every round.
