Reminiscing and old ammo

Rainy day blahs,so I decided to sort old ammo and see how many boxes still had factory fodder! When we ran our gun shop people were always trading old ammo to us in order to "sweeten " the deal. Never put it out for sale just sorta collected it. Had a lot of folks just drop ammo off fearing it was unsafe to fire as old as it was! We gladly disposed of this ammo post haste, right down the barrel of the nearest firearm in that particular caliber! Check out the pics and see how many old boxes you remember and how many memories are associated with them! Have fun Gat!

Here are a few of my old factory loaded ammo mostly in 250 savage, but there is some in 270, 220 Swift,284 and other assorted stuff. I need to shoot another deer or two before I get too old with some of that factory loaded 250 savage silver tips. I have shot a few with them years ago.IMG_3005.jpegIMG_3004.jpeg

Looks like You have some of those antique Federal Gold Metal Match primers also Don. Are those just to reminisce over also.
Those are the last of my 210 M that I have. I’ve got about 800 left for hunting loads. Should last the rest of my life. I shoot nothing but 205M now in my match ammunition and have 10,000+ of them, should be good the rest of my shooting career for hunting and competition. Thank goodness for insight!
