remington vls rifle stock questions, please help

I hope im posting this in the right area..
Ok, well I have a rem 700 sps varm in 243 and a 300 wsm rem sps non varm.. and right now i can get two of the wood vls stocks for $117 each, they look awsome with the wide forearm but I wanted some opinions from others who perhaps own vls's or know of the wood quality, and maybe who makes them?, these guns will be used for long range competitive shooting, and being that im poor this is about it.. lol
also I have thought about the hogue piller bedded, or the bell and carlson varmint medalist stock, any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you
Jerry M.

I have used these stocks with wonderful accuracy potential.I suggest floating the barrel and glassing in the action if you can afford it get the stock pillar bedded. Anything is going to be better than the crap Remington is using for stocks now adays
