Remington strikes again.......

This is nothing "new" I have a 22-250 Sendero I got in the 90's and the rear 2 scope mount screws are not in line with each other, and the front 2 screw mount holes are not in line with the rear 2. it took an adjustable mount all the way to one side, along with .040 of Burris inserts to get the scope on somewhat center. then used up about a turn of windage to get it on. I called Remington to get it corrected and was told it was in spec. I had sold my 22-250 BDL heavy varmint with a shot out barrel and got this, wish i had just re-barreled it. It was an older action with the clip slot.

This is what happens when accountants start running a business (nothing against bean counters, they have their purpose). Critical decisions are made based on $$ and the decision makers rarely see the escalation of the "hidden costs". Its a death spiral.
While financial woes are typically management, accountingn or work forse issuesn, I found the following information interesting and am hesitant to blame the typical 3 for the issues.

The article lays the blame for the downfall on the slick financial maneuvers of Cerberus Capital Management. Their maneuvers put the conglomerate under financial stress.

Goes right back too, you know, the union craftsmen who are bemoaning what terrible people the Remington brass are for moving the Co. and leaving them jobless.
