In December, RemArms, who own the gunmakers Remington, announced they would be closing the plant and moving their operations to Georgia making 270 people redundant.

I visited the factory around 1998, when my daughter was stationed at Ft. Drum. I could have easily spent a week there, in the plant. For a 49 year old machinist/gunsmith, it was a fascinating place. WH

No different that here in Illinois. Chicago controls the whole state. Wish we could turn it into North and South Illinois!

Businesses and people are leaving New York because politicians are ruining the state. Problem is, people are stupid and the ones who move to a better state end up voting the same way they always have. Many businesses are fleeing the eastern seaboard because of their lunatic political war on business. The firearms industry has been devastated from New Hampshire to New York. It's a shame but it's become survival of the fittest and NY is no longer healthy to do business in.
