Remington Sendero

Did the Remington Sendero ever come from the factory with a grey laminate thumbhole stock?

not that i know of it sounds like the stock they put on the XR-100.

I have never seen one if they did. The only stocks I have seen on Sendero's are the same as the H&S Precision full bed varmint who I think made the stocks for Remington.

If it doesn't have the aluminum bedding block for the recoil lug, it isn't a Sendero stock. I saw a rifle at a gunshow in NM that had the Sendero stock replaced,due to falling off a pack horse down a mountain). It's hard to beat the H&S stock, IMHO. To my knowledge, only the stock made by H&S Precision for Remington is used in the Sendero.

Alarge number of there Varmint guns are stocked in HS stocks including the VSSF and i do believe others

It sounds like you have a Boyd's laminate thumbhole stock.
