Factory wood stock on a Sendero?

Does anyone know if Remington ever produced a Sendero from the factory with a laminate stock? I bought a 7 STW Sendero with this stock, but had never seen another like it. Thanks

I dont believe so but they have done so many special runs over the years its hard to say. Call Remington and see what they say

I have one of these also, that I bought used. The stock is a brown laminate with a wide forearm and the barreled action seems to be powder coated or a similar treatment in black, chambered in .300 RUM.

I e-mailed Remington, to ask the same question that you're asking. Their response was that in 2001 Remington produced a few of these.

I emailed Remington as well a month ago but all they told me was that the rifle was made 1997. Mine is stainless with barrel flutes but has the same stock you described with the "remington" stamp in the recoil pad.
