Remington Sendero II Stock Compatibility

I'm considering buying a Remington Sendero SF II in .300WM (Man I wish Remington put out the Sendero in .300WSM!).

First off, in general, any opinions on a Sendero as a 1,000yrd + coyote rifle and paper puncher?

More importantly, if I go through with the Sendero, I want a new stock (leaning towards Bell & Carlson Medalist), but I'm not certain which stock is compatible (i.e. ADL or BDL?)?

I think they're a great out of the box platform for what you want. They usta make 'em in 300 SAUM. Might be able to dig one of those up.

I'm thinking you're going backwards on the stock thought. I'd bed the original and rock on.

Senderos are BDL.

I helped a friend set up one of these, bedded the factory stock, free floated, reset trigger, worked up loads and it was a .3 shooter,

The reason I'm looking for a different stock is that I do a lot of benchrest shooting for paper and varmints, so I wanted a wider, flattened forend, a steeper pistol grip, and fatter palm swell... I.e. more of a benchrest stock, instead of the sporting stock that's on it from the factory. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I'd really like to find a quality laminated benchrest stock for it, but I'll settle for a synthetic benchrest stock until I can have a custom stock carved.

I'm a little torn between the Sendero .300WM and a Savage 12 Varminter .300WSM. The Varminter has a laminate stock with a fairly similar design to the Sendero factory stock. I'd prefer the Short Action, and I'm a huge fan of the savage Accu-trigger. If I could get the Savage Palma Stock inlet for the 12 Varminter's detachable mag, that'd be about ideal for how I shoot.

I have a VSSF "sendero" in 300 saum, and have a PSS stock with palm swells laying around collecting dust!!!

If you want to shoot benchrest,go to sinclair and get an accuracy asset that bolts to the front sling swivel and converts that beautiful hs precision stock into a bench gun.I made 6 of my own design that look similar and put them on 4 of my remington VS(almost the same as a sendaro)(short action) and they actually ride the bags real well.Dont get the bell&carlson as they are heavier than the HS stocks and the forends are a little whimpy for my liking.

I have and shoot a Sendero in 300WM.
I set the barrel back 2 threads and re-cut the chamber to headspace on the shoulder and throated it for 210Berger VLD's, Skim bedded the action into the HS stock, Mounted a Leupold MkVI 8.5-25x50 FFP scope in a Badger 20MOA base with 8-40 screws, Shilen trigger, coated it all in Birdsong Black-T.
From the bench shooting off a Harris-S bi-pod and rear Tac Bag it does 3" 500yd groups and I've used it to cleanly kill deer and hogs at over 700yds.
