Remington no.5 rolling block Ejector

Friend wants me to convert a 7mm no.5 to 45-90. What do you do for the ejector, to do this conversion?

It is a rotary. On the left side of the breach block. Looks like 5ER.

Made a stub for a barrel to go into the receiver. Everything fits good for now. just got to get the extractor, and do some modifications to the stub for extractor cutout. Then on to the actual barrel fitting.

A few months back I picked up a No 5 with rotary that has been converted to a Numrich 45-70 "Buffalo" rifle. If you need pics or dimensions let me know. Back when Rolling Blocks were sold for pennies per pound, Numrich made up a few different flavor conversion kits. This particular one has the heaviest octagon barrel I have ever seen!

My project entails a 1-1/8" across the flats 34" barrel(which will be cut back to around 30", semi-finished walnut Sporter straight butt stock, Schnabel forearm, trigger work. Bill Benner is making me a rotary extractor for the 45-90 cartridge. Lots to do. I do have bluing tanks to blue everything metal.
