Remington Mohawk Build

Hello All
I have a bit of time on my hands and have the following parts laying around 1: a spare Mohawk action (from a old benchrest gun, with a 308 bolt face ) 2: an old style mcmillan HV style stock.
My question is what to build from it, I'm shooting a Dasher at the moment, so don't want another one of those, I'm thinking a straight 6 BR ??? its just for a fun gun at the local 300 & 600 club.
Any suggestions

Thanks !

Hello,
I have a fondness for the Mohawk. My grandma shoots a deer, every year, with one in 6mm. I always wanted to build one in 6mm Ackley!

I know you're going to get a hundred suggestions so I'll throw one out there. I built a 7BR about two years ago and just love it. Bullet selection is a little limited but it just loves the 139 grain Hornady SST's. Recoil is easy and the bullets is devastating on hogs. It has a 10 twist shilen barrel and I use it as my night vision rifle. Soooooo many choices.

My vote would be 6 BR with Lapua Brass, Varget, CCI 450's and Bergers out to 600 with 1 in 8 twist match barrel. Proven accuracy, minimal recoil, dependable and minimal bore erosion.
