Remington bolt swap?

Will the bolt from one production .308 SA Remington work in another SA Rem action without work? I know headspace will be different, but is each bolt matched or timed to each individual action at the factory? I'm trying to use the bolt from my Rem .308 in a different fireforming barrel/Rem action setup.

The bolt will work fine in another action as long as it has been headspaced for that action. If your lucky, or have used a MARS on both chambers your as good as it will get
with the fire formed brass being able to be used in both chambers..
Both chambers need to be EXACT to do what you want to do.......

A new bolt from Dave Kiff will need more work done on it than the old Remington will.
#1- no bolt handle...
#2- Lugs need to be set to the new action,as they are longer than needed.
New bolt or old bolt it will still need both chambers exactly alike....
