Remington XP100 Bolt Swap`

promach

I am looking at a project that would involve taking my XP100 in 35 Rem. and robbing the action for a fun bench rifle. I want to do a 221 Fireball, so I need a different bolt. Does anyone see a problem in just swapping one with someone that wants to do a reverse project and has a small bolt face? Also, would a bolt from a 700 or model 7 Remington work?
Also does anyone know of someone that might do a swap?

A Model Seven bolt is virtually the same as an XP-100 bolt with the addition of the anti-bind slot in the RH lug & a 700 handle.
A 40X/700 S/A bolt handle's location is 4.375" mean compared to 3.850" mean for the XP-100,600.660,Seven XP-100R.

An aftermarket bolt from D.Kiff/Pacific Tool & Gauge in OR is an option.

Steer clear of the SAKO extractor modifications.
