Remington ADL magazine screw

I have an ADL with no magazine retaining screw.
Does anyone know the thread diameter(pretty sure it's a #3), and the thread pitch?
Or, just say screw it and do without? Thanks.

Anyone know the size and pitch of the screw which hold the magazine box to the reciever on newer 700's?
