Remington 700SPS 223

Does anyone have a Remington 700 SPS 223 in the 16.5" bbl.?
Just looking for some reviews. I really like the idea of the short barrel.
The only problem might be velocity loss? I'm still thinking I should be able to get 3000/3100 fps using 50gr./55gr. bullets.
Most of my shooting is under 250yrd. And just at targets mostly.
I have the SPS 20" model in 308 & I like it. Shoots better then me lol.

I shoot an XP-100 with a 14 inch barrel and 53 V-Maxs using XBR8208
you will be able to get the velocity you want safely.The nice thing is that this load shoots very flat,I can hit the small gongs at 100,200,300,and 400 with the same hold.Perfect for coyote shooting.
