Remington 700 Ti Stock Question

How do you tell if a Remington 700 Ti factory stock was produced by McMillan or Bell & Carlson? I have one coming that has the crumbling/sticky Limbsaver recoil pad that I will need to replace. I believe the McMillan's are screwed on but the B&C are glued on.

Can you pull it apart between your thumbs to expose the screw slits if it had them?

I have not received it yet (in the mail). I know both companies made/make the stock just trying to plan ahead.

If you take a pic inside the barrel channel i should be able to tell you. Why does it matter anyway? If youre going to put a new pad on there itll have to be fit no matter who made it

Was just trying to determine if it's glued on or uses screws. I read somewhere McMillan's are screwed on. Don't want to damage the stock trying to pry the pad off if it's screwed on.

You can cut the gummy part off and youll see pretty quick
