I had one when they first came out in the mid Nineties. It was blued and fluted in .300 WinMag. It would shoot well under a half inch with good loads. It was only available through Bill Hicks and Co. (Distributor).I have the chance to pick up a used Remington 700 Sendero chambered in .300 Win Mag.
I'd like some feed back please.
Thx
I agree with this. While a "heavier" contour - they are still thin enough to get pretty hot at 15 rounds.that barrel will get awfully hot shooting steel matches. 10-15 rounds of 300wm can get even a heavy barrel toasty.
Thats a lot of powderI have the “tactical“ model, fluted barrel in 300wm. With 210 grains of H1000 I can get 1/2 to 3/4 groups at 100 and stays 1/2 to 300. Taken elk at 780 and 500 with one shot. Only difference is the stock I believe. I’m downsizing and hate to let it go but I may.
