Remington 700 SA follower

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a follower for a SA 700 using the small bolt face.

I have a 204 ruger I shoot with heavy bullets and need a longer follower for the box.

2.40 would be the length.

Does anyone know if there is a place that makes these and or someone that could help?

I just modified a 308 follower to fit inside a 223 box with rear spacer removed. Works perfect.

The box is modified to fit a longer 204 case thank stock so I still have a spacer in there but I need a longer follower.

Do you have a pic or two or possibly a procedure on how you did this?

I should be able to take a picture tomorrow.

As for the procedure, I just removed enough material from both sides of the follower to freely slide in the box. Then I reshaped the top of the follower slightly to keep the brass from popping out from under the feed rails too early.
