SELLING Remington 700 in .257 Ackley

For sale is a Remington 700 in .257 Roberts Ackley improved. This originally was a Classic in .257. Has the classic wood stock. It has a Brux, 9 twist barrel, 24 inches long. There are 866 rounds through the barrel which was shot SLOWLY at the range with the assistance of a barrel cooler.
Price is $850 plus shipping. CONUS sale with payment by postal money order or a held personal check.
Only one small ding as shown in the photo. Stock is pillar bedded. Some fire formed Nosler brass included. Also have a Whidden custom micro adjust bushing die you may purchase.

I have been asked "how does it shoot?"
Do not save targets, but with R-19, three shot groups:
Berger 115, 26 groups =.9188"
Speer 120, 16 groups=.8798"
It is not really finicky about powder or bullets. Probably used 10 different powders and 8 to 10 bullets.
R-19 was the best and the two mentioned bullets also worked the best.
