SELLING Remington 700 HS stock

Hello all. I have for sale a HS precision stock that fits a Remington 700 short action. I believe that it's a Remington 5R Gen 2 take off stock. Someone did a nice camo paint job on it, it was that way when I bought it. It has been inletted for a M5 style bottom metal. I am including an M5 bottom metal, action screws and one MDT 10 round 223 poly magazine. It has a nice palm swell, the action area is untouched, the barrel channel appears to be a factory 5R/Varmint contour. Asking $385 shipped to you.

Thank you. It's a great setup, but the magazine is too busy for me. I went back to a stock with a floor plate.

I haven't alerted the stock in anyway. If the barrel channel has been opened up, it must have been done professionally and painted back when the camo paint was done. Is the Remington 5R contour slightly larger than the standard varmint?

5R refers to the rifling, not the contour. The channel does appear opened up slightly but it looks good and there’s nothing wrong with a little gapage around the barrel.

At the tip of the stock, the barrel channel is just over 1 inch.

The 5r’s are slightly smaller than Sendero pretty much same as the varmint
