I recently purchased a remington 700 chambered in 6.5x284. It's built on a long action and the action was supposed to have been trued. The rifle fails to eject fired cases and loaded cases about 60 % of the time.
All of my other 700's have a prefectly round rim on the bolt, this one is not. . My question is could this be the cause of the failure to eject? If so what can be done to fix it? Pic is attached.
Thanks for any help.
