remington 700 benchrest stock recommendations

Looking for a recommendation on a benchrest stock and where to get it, for a Rem 700 s/a in .308.
looking for a 3" forend.

HS Precision makes a nice one, have several & are pleased with them. Shown on page 555, Midway Master catalog # 34, top right of page, $316.99. Other alternative would be to order a McMillan, Kelbly, etc., but be prepared to wait 4 to 6 months.

Baer custom rifles (270 miles south) can make you pretty much anything you want in a laminate. Not sure about the composites.
