Remington 572 fieldmaster part or repair

I have a good friend who took his Remington fieldmaster down to the local gunshop for repair. They couldn’t help him. He sent me a picture of the part, the part was one piece and then broke. Can anyone help, the rifle has sentimental value, his Dad gifted him the rifle at 16 and he’s had it for 25+ years. I’d rather give him a shop where he can send it for repair but would be happy to get the part if I can’t find a shop. I don’t have the rifle but he sent me the attached pics, any help with who repairs this older Remington rimfire pumps would be appreciated.

I cant tell from the picture but it looks like the locking bar assembly. If so, there are two for sale here: 572 parts

I think you’re right, I ordered one of the two. The help is much appreciated! Hopefully it fixes the issue.

I got one for 8th grade graduation. Wore it out shooting squirrels. Had to put in new firing pin,,,,, gun is now about 48 years old,,,,wow
