Remington 552 Loose barrel

I have a 552 with a loose reciever/barrel fit. Haven't measured the movement at the muzzle but it is very noticible. Is there a cost effective repair or is this a parts gun?

You need to remove the bbl and clean the tenon and the receiver and accurately measure both parts so you know how much clearance you are dealing with. Then choose the correct Loctite product . I use Loctite 609 to retain slip fit bbls such as yours.

Thanks rayjay. The barrel mics .7643-.7646,kinda odd dim. to me. I will have to get something to measure the I.D.
